Operator S Manual Farmscan Ag Pty Ltd
About FarmscanAG was formed in early 2010 when senior management of Computronics Corporation realised the opportunity to purchase the manufacturing and design rights to the Farmscan and AgGuide products which have been at the leading edge of innovation in agricultural electronics for over 35 years. The 3 Directors of FarmscanAG, John Chalmers, Jason Stone and Ian Giles have over 50 years experience between them in the industry and with staff that's close to 80 years of experience to form a team to maintain that innovation for many years to come.
For over 35 years, Farmscan and AgGuide have helped Australian farmers to become the worlds most efficient grain producers, by providing a complete range of electronics to steer, map, monitor and control spraying, spreading, planting and harvesting machinery. The original company which commenced manufacturing in 1976 first moved into GPS guidance when it acquired Precision Farming Australia in 2001 and joining with Precision Guidance pioneer AgGuide in 2008 formed Australia's only wholly owned Guidance and Monitoring Specialist.
The resulting pool of talent now involved with design, manufacture and support of FarmscanAG products can provide farmers and contractors with a completely integrated range of agricultural electronics. FarmscanAG products are continuing to gain international recognition and with expanding operations in New Zealand, South America, Europe, Canada, and South Africa. FARMSCAN AG PRODUCTS FarmscanAG products are developed under the harshest Australian conditions, with input from farmers and contractors to ensure practical features and user-friendly operation. Our AgGuideV4 GPS guidance and vehicle and implement auto steering products are leading the world with special capabilities to operate round and round, contour and in parallel mode for both broad-acre and row crop farming. Advanced mapping, record keeping and GPS Laser Leveling capabilities mean AgGuideV4 is a comprehensive system for productivity and precision agriculture.
FarmscanAG products range from the multi functional Jackal monitor released in 2009 to single task controllers like the 24V1 and on through to fully integrated multi product control and monitoring systems such as the Canlink 3500 & AgGuide Guidance.
