Elementary school kids (up through 6th grade) are just getting used to holding buzzers (and often shout answers out without warning.) We are America’s biggest supplier of custom-formatted questions for quiz bowl games, so let Avery Enterprises provide fun and challenging quiz bowl questions for your elementary school students! The first category below is Common Core material. Below that are practice quiz bowl sets for individual teams. Besides the two sets covering all grades, we have one set specifically for each grade from 3rd through 6th. These are great for getting kids used to playing quiz bowl and using a buzzer.
We even offer a National History Bee® /Bowl® study guide that elementary students can use and enjoy! Second, we have practice sets for individual schools, as well as our National History Bee study guide. The last category below is tournament sets, designed for multi-team quiz bowl tournaments between schools.
Most sets are designed for grades 5 and 6 (though one set is for grades 1-3), with “tossup” questions to be answered by anyone and a “bonus” question as a reward for each correct tossup. A quiz bowl match between the students and parents using one of these sets (where the parents “pay to play”) makes a great fundraiser! For more information.
